A Personal Project Called
"Pumpkins Sporting Floppy Hats"
>>>Just for fun
I was putting my floppy hats away until next spring and summer. This was just after Halloween and I noticed our jack-o-lantern was looking a little sad and lonely, So, I wondered if wearing some floppy hats would cheer him up.
After leaving the pumpkin in the garage to age for a few weeks, he acquired a leathery and wrinkled look and he told me he was ready for his floppy hat photo shoot.
So, I set up my flashes and camera in the basement and took a couple (actually about 12 or so) to get the exposure right. Then I started taking a few shots with hats.
A few days went by and when I returned to my pumpkin, he had caved in. I was all set to compost him, when a fellow photographer friend Sébastien Duperron thought he still had some shots left in him.
So I took a few more. This project was for fun, and while I enjoyed the experience, I hope my old, leathery pumpkin enjoyed the photo shoot. When I asked him, he was very silent.
